Robert Spence has over fifteen years of experience in real estate development and construction. He earned his Master of Science Degree in International Relations from Florida State University and his Bachelor of Arts Degree in History/Political Science at Sophia University in Tokyo.

While working for two of the largest construction and development firms in the country, Mr. Spence was responsible for the development, supervision and implementation of the Los Angeles World Trade Center, which contains the 400 room Hilton Hotel (Long Beach) and the 400 room Sheraton Grande Resort Hotel, Torrey Pines, California.

The Sheraton Resort Hotel, Torrey Pines, is a luxury resort for individual and group clientele as well as an ideal venue for social and business functions. It is surrounded by hundreds of ancient Torrey Pine trees. The property has been sensitively designed, under Mr. Spence's direction, to take advantage of the inspiring landscape in this idyllic setting. The project was brought in on budget and on time. Today it is considered one of Sheraton's premiere properties.

The Hilton Hotel, Long Beach, part of a five hundred million dollar mixed use project, set the standard of excellence in the market that it serves. It is situated on the Southern California Coast adjacent to the Ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles. The hotel is part of a four square block development which encompasses high rise commercial office towers and a shopping and dining plaza. While working with local government, redevelopment agencies, and foreign investors, Mr. Spence was instrumental in creating a well functioning informal working partnership to develop and manage the project.

Mr. Spence was involved in the planning and implementation of several successful hotel and resort projects including a 250 room 4 Star Resort and 250 Suite Timeshare Development in Phoenix, Arizona.

Mr. Spence is a strong, no-nonsense executive with excellent interpersonal skills, enabling him to accomplish projects efficiently. He possesses well-honed team building abilities that permit him to cut through seemingly difficult tasks with ease. Honest, direct and well focused on the client's goals, his abilities permit him to bring in projects on budget and on time.
