Manoj has been a Real Estate Developer, licensed Broker and licensed General Contractor in California. He has developed and built over 130 projects in California and the U.K. valued at over 400 million dollars.
Expanding on his interest in the hospitality industry, he has focused on hotel development both for major brands (Holiday Inn, Best Western, Comfort Inn & Suites) as well as numerous independent projects. Manoj has also built luxury hillside homes, shopping centers and other commercial developments in Southern California.
Earlier in his carrier, Manoj focused on developing and managing fine restaurants in England. Some of the notable endeavors include Tandoori ( Chelsea, London), Shezan (Knightsbridge, London), Rajdoot( Bristol, Manchester, Birmingham), The Celebrity( Birmingham, Albion's ( Studio city, CA), Banjo Café( Venice, CA), Bicycle Shop Café, (West Los Angeles, CA)Le Dome( West Hollywood, CA), Yours Faithfully (Northridge, CA).
Manoj has extensive Food and Beverage experience of day to day functions of several Food & Beverage operations including:- Daily briefing of the Hotel & Restaurant staff.
- Supervise Restaurant set up, reservations, floor management and inventory (supplies, perishable, liquor etc.)
- Maintain constant guest contact, build relationships and solicit feed back.
- Hire, train and supervise front house staff.
- Forecast and budget revenues and costs.
- Manage Points of Sales system.
- Run and analyze reports on Food & Beverage profitability.
- Work with Executive Chef on menu planning and pricing.
- Build the catering business and supervise on and off - site caterings.
